Brian first tried yoga in 2002, but never took it seriously until February 2017 due to two car accidents injuring his neck. Yoga helped heal his pain. He was so grateful and eager to learn more. He wanted to help people the same way the practice had healed him. He completed his 200hour YTT with Yoga Loft in March of 2019. He bought an old printing shop and turned it into Plant City Yoga in September of 2019. He hopes to make the studio a place where anyone would feel at home.

Slow Flow

Samantha always knew she wanted to help people, the question was how? She moved to Florida in August, 2011 and started attending Hillsborough Community College. Overwhelmed with a full time schedule, she wanted something to help her relax. After she took a few classes she knew she wanted to spread joy, peace and  love, just like her instructor did for her. She went on to get her AA in Liberal Arts and transferred to The University of South Florida in January, 2014. She completed her Yoga Alliance RYT-200hr training in April, 2014 with Yoga Loft. Once she began teaching she realized this is what she was meant to do instead of continuing out her degree in psychology. In March 2019 she decided to deepen her practice. She completed  her 300hr training in an ashram with Sri Soham in India. That experience changed her whole perspective on life.  She is forever grateful for her guru and everything India did for her mentally and spiritually. Now she is the head instructor and part owner of Plant City Yoga. No matter how much time may pass, she will always continue to be a student of yoga. She strives to bring  peace, kindness, playful silliness,  and ultimately love to her classes. She’s also a big hugger!

yoga 101

 Lindsay has practiced yoga throughout her life, mostly for physical exercise and stretching after running. It wasn't until 2014 when she moved to Florida from snowy upstate NY that she found yoga to be the one thing that grounded her while feeling overwhelmed in a new city with a brand new job.  It was then that she began her own relationship with yoga and through intention setting realized she is doing her best in all life aspects when she's practicing yoga regularly. Lindsay works in the mental health field and has easily seen how fast one can become burnt out and through yoga teacher training she has learned how to take better care of herself to work toward becoming her best self.  Lindsay believes yoga should be accessible to every body and while she keeps it challenging for intermediate students she works on yoga fundamentals to help guide new students into a safe and comfortable practice. She completed her RYT-200 at the Yoga Loft in Ybor City, FL in March 2019. When she's not on the mat you can find Lindsay reading, spending time with family & friends (including her 2 cats) as well as attempting to cultivate a small patio garden.



Yoga for Everybody wednesday

Karen began her personal yoga practice five years ago, opening her mind not only to the physical aspects but the spiritual, emotional, and mental benefits of yoga.   She has a degree in Business Administration and completed her Teacher Certification with Yoga Loft--Tampa and is Registered with Yoga Alliance (RYT 200).  Over the past 20 years, she has been an educator and a manager of a busy home and small business. Yoga has become an integral part of maintaining balance in her life.

Her passion is to help her community learn the importance of “being still”.  This is not selfish of one’s time but a necessary part of balancing all aspects of life. Karen knows that yoga is a gift that can help someone of any age during any phase in life.  Sharing what she has learned and personally experienced allows her to impact one life at a time.

In her spare time, Karen trains alongside her husband for endurance races.  They also enjoy traveling, paddle boarding, hiking and college basketball.  Spending quality time with their (now adult) children at the beach or mountains is time well spent and filled with family memories.

teaches Soul Yoga

Yoga came to me some years ago when I was experiencing many life changes at once. It was during this time that yoga kept me grounded and at times buoyant even when things were not easy. I started yoga teacher training as a means to learn how to go deeper into my own practice. As I was learning many opportunities presented themselves to begin teaching yoga to others. I soon found that sharing the peace and joy that yoga brings was something that I loved to do. 

The only constant in life is change and yoga is a tool to help one learn to bend and flow with the ebb and flow of life. Many years have passed since I began my yoga journey but as I become older and a mother to my 3rd child at age 45 the more important yoga has become in helping me to feel healthy, fluid and light. The peace that yoga brings comes from the connection of mind, body and spirit. It is my hope to be able to share some of that joy with others and to help provide a place of peace and rest. It is my desire to teach from the heart and to learn and grow with my students as they learn from me.

teaches Rise and Flow

Rebecca’s first introduction to yoga was in college and community classes offered on campus.   After college, she practiced sporadically with DVDs.  Later, when recovering from a car accident, Rebecca found a class designed for people with injuries at the local yoga studio in her town.  It was like coming home.  As much as her body needed to mend, her spirit needed it more. 

With a desire to share what yoga had given her, Rebecca enrolled in a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training program at Karma Yoga, in Litha, Florida. She believes that a slow, mindful practice helps one develop strength and stability in the body, mind, and spirit.   

In addition to her Yoga practice, Rebecca is a working artist with a focus on nature and anatomy inspired watercolor paintings.  She is fascinated with all of the flora and fauna of nature.  Rebecca lives in Plant City, Florida with her husband and five fur-babies.

Teaches gentle yin

With over 10 years experience, my practice has helped me grow stronger, more flexible and fearless, both on and off the mat. Yoga inspires me to live each moment more mindfully. I completed my 200 hour at the Yoga Loft, in Tampa, FL. I will always be a student of the practice and am deeply grateful for the loving wisdom my teachers have shared with me. I love to combine creative sequencing with a focus on the breath, mindful of the level of yoga experience of the students in my class. I seek to help others thrive by nurturing body, mind and soul with yoga, and my hope is that you step off the mat feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced.

Yoga for Everybody

Gentle and moderate instruction combined into one class! A strong foundation is developed using grounding, breath work and thoughtful sequencing. These yoga basics work on building strength, better balance and overall flexibility. Modifications offered for various levels of intensity. For beginners to seasoned practitioners, this class truly is for EVERYbody!

Rise & Flow

Wake up and get your day started with mindful movement. This vinyasa style class starts off slowly to wake up the body gently, and increases in intensity throughout the practice. Leaving you energized and ready to take on your day. Suitable for all levels.

Ashtanga Remix

Ashtanga is the original power yoga. A systematic sequence of predetermined flowing postures linked together with the breath. Marco will make it fun and empowering, open to all levels!

Yoga 101

An easy going, light hearted flow to learn the FUNdamentals of yoga! You'll go over beginner poses to help build a solid foundation in your yoga practice. No experience needed! If you can breathe you can do yoga!

Gentle Yin

This class is slow gentle movement to heal and rejuvenate your body. Longer holds to help release tension. You'll leave feeling relaxed.

Slow Flow

Will be going through a mindful slow yoga flow. Focused on recharging your body and relaxing the mind.

Soul Yoga

Heal your soul with a community yoga and donation based class. Open to all levels!
